Paprzycki, an award-winning playwright, screenwriter, director, and educator whose compelling original works have been produced at theaters throughout the Northeast and beyond. Based on Cape Cod's Outer Cape, Joseph is the author of over 60 plays and screenplays that explore the human condition with authenticity and dramatic power. He is the founder and curator of the Truro Playwright Collective and the former producing artistic director of South Camden Theatre Company in Camden, New Jersey.

Joseph M. Paprzycki is the author of over sixty plays and screenplays, including LAST RITES, TENNESSEE'S FINAL CURTAIN, UNDERSTUDIES, FORTUNE COOKIES, EXPRESS TRACKS, and YOUTH IN AMERICA. He was born and raised in Camden, New Jersey, where five of his plays and one screenplay are set.
Over thirty of his plays have been produced in New York, New Jersey, and the Philadelphia area. He was an adjunct faculty member at Rosemont College, La Salle University, and Temple University, where he taught either playwriting or scriptwriting on both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Joe is also the founder and former producing artistic director of the South Camden Theatre Company, a professional theatre company based in Camden, New Jersey.
Joseph served on the board of the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Festival from 2017-2023.
In 2022, Joseph founded the Truro Playwright Collective, a group of seven established, Outer Cape playwrights who present free staged readings of their full-length works once a month from October through April at the Truro Public Library.
Joseph is a member of the Dramatist Guild of America, Inc., and the former Dramatist Guild Ambassador for Cape Cod, Massachusetts. He is represented by Susan Schulman, A Literary Agent.
